Partnership

The UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with a pioneering charity aiming to address society’s most pressing issues by working with an expert organisation in the space. Since 1999, the programme has raised over £29million and has enabled strategic growth for 29 charities by utilising Deutsche Bank employee skills, knowledge and expertise. The partnership’s overriding ambition is to create a legacy by delivering meaningful impact for the charity and the issue it aims to address.

Charity of the Year 2024-2025

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity. Its nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, are specialists in dementia and provide life-changing advice and support to anyone affected by the condition, whenever it is needed. Admiral Nurses help families up and down the country to have the best life possible, for as long as possible. Whether it’s on Dementia UK’s Helpline, through phone and video appointments or in the community, they give families the much-needed space to talk to someone who understands. It’s why so many families describe them as a lifeline.

Our partnership will support Dementia UK to bridge the huge gaps in dementia care and ensure everyone receives the support they need. Through employee fundraising and utilising the bank’s wealth of skills and capabilities, we will help drive Dementia UK’s mission of leading and delivering high quality, expert and accessible dementia care through its specialist Admiral Nurses.
