Partnership
The UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with a pioneering charity aiming to address society’s most pressing issues by working with an expert organisation in the space. Since 1999, the programme has raised over £30million and has enabled strategic growth for 30 charities by utilising Deutsche Bank employee skills, knowledge and expertise. The partnership’s overriding ambition is to create a legacy by delivering meaningful impact for the charity and the issue it aims to address.
Charity of the Year 2026-2027
The application process to become Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year 2026-2027 is now open. Our next partnership will be dedicated to helping young people thrive in the UK.
We know that social and economic disparities can intensify existing challenges for young people, such as, finding stable employment, accessing education, and managing mental wellbeing. Young people are facing the reality of a lack of youth services within their community that would support them to gain financial skills, build their confidence and find their voice.
We are looking for charities with a cross-sectional focus on projects in areas such as education, financial literacy, empowerment, social inclusion, and employment access. Together, we will support youth services to provide life skills, emotional resilience and inclusive spaces, to promote social and economic equality for young people.
For full information on eligibility criteria, application guidelines and timelines, download our application overview. Deadline for applications is 23:59 on Friday 1 August 2025.
We’ll also be hosting an information session, to give more insights to the programme, explain the process and answer any questions, on Friday 18 July, 12:30pm. A maximum of two employees per eligible charity can register for the session here.
Charity of the Year 2024-2025
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity. Its nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, are specialists in dementia and provide life-changing advice and support to anyone affected by the condition, whenever it is needed. Admiral Nurses help families up and down the country to have the best life possible, for as long as possible. Whether it’s on Dementia UK’s Helpline, through phone and video appointments or in the community, they give families the much-needed space to talk to someone who understands. It’s why so many families describe them as a lifeline.
Our partnership will support Dementia UK to bridge the huge gaps in dementia care and ensure everyone receives the support they need. Through employee fundraising and utilising the bank’s wealth of skills and capabilities, we will help drive Dementia UK’s mission of leading and delivering high quality, expert and accessible dementia care through its specialist Admiral Nurses.
Impact with Dementia UK, Charity of the Year 2024
What people are saying
"One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime, whether by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves or both. Because of Deutsche Bank’s dedicated support, Dementia UK and our specialist Admiral Nurses can provide a lifeline to more families affected by dementia than ever.
Every penny raised through our partnership is driving our mission of ensuring our life-changing support is there for everyone who needs it, with the potential to fund 30 new Admiral Nurses. We're also working with colleagues to increase understanding of dementia and its impact, and providing support for colleagues who are directly affected.
On behalf of Dementia UK and the families we support, thank you for standing with us as your UK Charity of the Year 2024-25. Together we’re taking one step closer to a world where no one faces dementia alone."
Dr Hilda Hayo, CEO and Chief Admiral Nurse
