Frieze Art Fair

2023 is Deutsche Bank's 20th year in partnership with Frieze Art Fairs. It is a relationship we are hugely proud of, enabling us to deepen our long-standing commitment to supporting artistic talent over many years.

In our lounges at Frieze London and Frieze Masters, we are delighted to be exhibiting works by Yinka Shonibare CBE RA entitled ‘African Bird Magic’.  Shonibare is an artist featured in the Deutsche Bank Collection but also supported the Frieze x Deutsche Bank Emerging Curators Fellowship in 2021.  Through works on paper, batiks, quilts and sculpture, Yinka examines race, class and the construction of cultural identity and the tangled interrelationship between Africa and Europe, and their respective economic and political histories.
