Building momentum for shared ownership

Ownership Works advocates for employee ownership programs that create economic opportunity for working families, advance racial equity, enhance employee engagement and build stronger companies and communities.

As a founding member, Deutsche Bank will commit time and resources to raising awareness of shared ownership and referring companies to Ownership Works.

“Deutsche Bank and its Foundation have long recognized that talent and its people are its most important asset. We are proud to collaborate across corporations and foundations with a new economic development strategy where workers across the country can participate in a shared wealth model,” said Mark Fedorcik, Co-Head of the Investment Bank. “Our employees have also contributed their time to mentor in the community and help prepare workers as they develop or pursue new career pathways.”

Ownership Works will develop and help implement broad-based employee ownership programs to create better work environments and (transform how wealth is distributed). The nonprofit will provide private and public companies with practical models and tools to support program implementation.

By 2030, Ownership Works anticipates that the shared ownership movement will create hundreds of thousands of new employee-owners and generate at least $20 billion of wealth for working families.
