Partnering to serve New York City's communities

Deutsche Bank is proud to participate in NYC Service’s "Good For Me. Good For My City." campaign, which unites several New York City companies as partners in championing employee volunteer engagement. The initiative is part of Deutsche Bank’s Born to Be youth engagement program.

Led by NYC Service, a division of the Office of the Mayor, this campaign unites 20 companies in a pledge to further their employees’ impact. Throughout 2017, Deutsche Bank and its partners will work to increase the total number of employees volunteering alongside City agencies and community-based organizations to address pressing community needs.

In observance of National Mentoring Month (January), the initiative will launch with a focus on increasing the number of employees serving as mentors to New York City high school students. Mentoring, and youth engagement more broadly, has long been a central part of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility work around the world. The Bank’s Born to Be youth engagement program leverages philanthropic resources, thought leadership and employee volunteerism to break down barriers to opportunity and support a strong educational environment for all.
