• Your funds could be illegally transferred to another account.

• Fully Encrypted Data Transmissions:
  
  128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology is used during your Online Banking Service session to fully encrypt and thereby safeguard your personal data. You may notice that the URL address commences with 'https' (rather than just 'http') which means SSL protocols are employed and in force, as follows:
  https://online.deutsche-bank.com.cn/DB/CorporateLogin.html
  and you will also see thesymbol appear in your browser which also indicates the connection between your PC and the Online Banking System is fully protected by the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology.
  
  
• Login ID and Password:
  
  You can only login to the Online Banking System with your ID and password. If 3 incorrect attempts to login are registered, your ID will be automatically locked, your account will be blocked, and access will be denied. If such a situation should ever occur, please be sure to contact our 24-hour Customer Service Hotline at your earliest convenience.
  
  
• Enter Your Protected Password with Security Keyboard:
  
  The special Security Keyboard is an important security device that can help protect your computer from becoming infected / invaded by malicious "Spy Ware" and "Trojan Horse programmes" that are designed to capture your every keystroke, so that such keystrokes can be later used to gain access / control of your computer. The Security Keyboard considerably reduces this type of security risk and can help make your Online Banking experiences much more secure.
  
  
• Checking Your Last Login Status:
  
  Whenever you login to the Online Banking Service, you are strongly advised to check the status of your last login (login time/ access status: successful or not) – it is conveniently located at the top of the home page. Please be sure to check this information carefully and if you have any doubts or concerns, please contact us immediately.
  
  
• Your Personal and Unique Digital Certificate:
  
  For certain types of specific transactions, the Online Banking Service system will require you to 'sign', i.e., authorize, such transactions with your Digital Certificate, which is conveniently and securely stored within the DBKey.
  
  
• Session 'Time Out':
  
  when your computer remains inactive for a predetermined period of time, you will be automatically logged-off by the Online Banking Service System – as a standard security procedure. This will help protect your account information from any unauthorized usage.
  
  
• Your Identification is Required Before Password Can Be Reset:
  
  If you forget your password and require to reset your password, you will be required to provide proof of Identification. This is a standard security measure that is designed to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
  
  

Here are a few handy hints and tips to help you improve your own personal security measures…

• Anti-Virus Software, Anti-Spyware, Firewalls:
  
  If you haven't got them already installed in your computer, do so immediately, as this will improve your security by leaps and bounds. Also, check frequently for updates and upgrades, and when they become available, be sure to install them pronto!
  
  
• Connecting to the Deutsche Bank Online Banking Service:
  
  Once you have successfully logged-on to the Deutsche Bank Online Banking Service system, be sure to 'bookmark' the page and/or 'save' it or Add to Favourites – as this will ensure you always have the correct URL address, i.e.,
  https://online.deutsche-bank.com.cn/DB/CorporateLogin.html
  ready for the next time you wish to login. Also, avoid connecting to the Online Banking Service from any computer other than your own personal computer for added security measures.
  
  
• Password Protection:
  
  When choosing a password, do not use your birthday or phone number. You can suggested to select a password that contains both upper and lower letters and number (e.g. Ar75mK3t) Once done, do not disclose the password to anybody and don't write it down – but, if you really need to record it, be sure to disguise it with a simple code and store in a safe place. You can also change your password regularly via "Change Password" function
  
  
• Do Not Respond To False Messages (Phishing Attacks):
  
  This is very important –Deutsche Bank will NEVER ASK YOU VIA E-MAIL FOR YOUR PASSWORD OR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. If you ever receive such an e-mail link or if anyone purporting to be a representative of Deutsche Bank contacts you in any way whatsoever and asks for your password or other personal bank details – REFUSE TO COMPLY and then contact us immediately via e-mail at cn.service@db.com or by calling this number: 400-650-8899.
  
  
• Simple Procedures For Greater Security:
  
  Whilst you are logged-in to the Online Banking Service, please refrain from opening multiple windows, and, once you have completed your transaction(s), be sure to close all windows and log-off. If you follow this simple procedure, you will greatly enhance your security capabilities. It is also a recognized good practise to change your password every 90 days or so.
  
  
• Cancel the 'Remember Password' Facility:
  
  If your computer attempts to store your password and retain it as a stored 'cookie', be sure to cancel this facility. It is also a recognized good practise to clear the 'cookie' cache on your computer on a regular basis.
  
  

• DB Key is provided by Deutsche Bank, and is the physical medium, i.e., the USB Key + password, that is used for storing your unique Digital Certificate.
• A Digital Certificate is your unique online security identity card that establishes your credentials when doing business or other transactions on the Internet, and can only be issued by an authorized Certification Authority (CA). Your unique Digital Certificate is securely embedded within the USB Key device (DB Key); and is the most secure storage method currently available for your unique Digital Certificate.
• Please be advised: Any unauthorized transaction(s) may cause you to endure a capital loss. For specific transactions, Deutsche Bank Online Banking Service system will require you to provide proof of identity whenever you authorize a transaction via presentation of your unique Digital Certificate. Therefore, so long as your login ID, password, USB Key and USB Key password are kept safe and secure, and are not reported as being stolen or mislaid, your account and funds will remain totally secure and safe.

• Spy Ware:
  
  Spy Ware is a malicious programme that will stealthily and secretly monitor your Internet usage and report back to the person who secretly established the programme inside your computer. Usually, the programme includes key-stroke logging - this can secretly make a log of all your bank / credit card account numbers, passwords, phone numbers, etc.
  
  
• Trojan Programmes:
  
  Trojan Programmes, once established, run silently and can automatically take control ofyour computer, including how it functions, as well as steal all your valuable data, obtain all of your passwords, change your files, view your e-mail, and use your computer as a host computer for all manner of illegal and evil purposes.
  
  
• Phishing:
  
  A phishing website is a false online banking look-alike website that is designed to appear as near identical to a bona fide online banking website. Once you links to a phishing website and enters your login ID and password, your login ID and password will be automatically obtained by the criminals in control of the phishing website, who will undoubtedly utilize such information in all manner of illegal activities.
  
  
• Trick Messages:
  
  Trick Messages are sent by criminals to unsuspecting victims, usually via e-mail, short messages (SMS), search engines, even by viral programmes. Generally, the messages will encourage victim to log-on to a phishing website or seek further personal and/or private financial information.
  
  
• 128-bit SSL Encryption:
  
  Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocols provide a high level of security for Internet communications, and help ensure that any sensitive data transmitted via the Internet between your browser and a web server – remain strictly confidential; and with its in-built 128-bit encryption, it ensures all such sensitive data remains strictly confidential.
  
  
• Digital Certificates:
  
  A Digital Certificate is your unique online security identity card that establishes your credentials when doing business or other transactions on the Internet, and can only be issued by a authorized Certification Authority (CA).
